Delhi 2010
- 400 England Team athletes will participate in the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games –the largest number of British athletes ever to take part in a sporting event, even bigger than the Olympics
- 17 different sports will be showcased: archery, aquatics (swimming, synchronised swimming and diving), athletics, badminton, boxing, cycling, gymnastics, hockey, lawn bowls, netball, rugby 7s, shooting, squash, table tennis, tennis, weightlifting and wrestling
- On St George's Day, Commonwealth Games 2010 decided to let the public vote for the anthem of their choice to be played in Delhi. Jerusalem is the song chosen to inspire the England Team athletes
- The world-class England Team, which includes Shauna Thompson, Iain Weaver and Helen Clitheroe, will be up against the crème de la crème from across the globe in sprinting, distance running and rugby
